Counsellor & Psychotherapist
Kari works with adults navigating anxiety, relationships, grief, and major life transitions. She has a particular interest in perfectionism, self-worth, narcissism, insomnia, and workplace stress, especially among high-performing professionals. Her clients often seek support during times of emotional overwhelm, identity shifts, or when coping strategies begin to interfere with wellbeing and connection.
Kari’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and insight-driven. She supports clients in exploring the roots of distress and attachment, shifting unhelpful patterns, and building emotional resilience. Informed by a deep understanding of grief and loss, she offers compassionate support for bereavement, ambiguous loss, and loneliness.
Kari also works with couples navigating relationship challenges, focusing on healthier communication, conflict resolution, or, when needed, separation. In addition, she supports older adolescents (16+) experiencing stress related to school, family, peers, and emotional regulation.
Before becoming a therapist, Kari spent nearly two decades in fast-paced corporate environments. Originally from Australia, she has lived in Hong Kong since 2011 and values a respectful, inclusive approach to therapy.
