Casey McGrath

Counsellor & Psychotherapist

Casey McGrath

Casey works with adults seeking greater self-understanding and emotional balance through periods of transition, turbulence and stagnation. Her clients are men and women across the adult lifespan and across different cultures, often from high-pressure and high-achieving backgrounds.

Casey supports clients in examining patterns, exploring the self and shifting perspectives for meaningful change using a range of evidence based approaches. She believes authentic connection and empathy are essential to healing and growth, particularly in recovery from past trauma or difficult life experience. Her approach integrates reflective exploration with practical tools to foster resilience, increase self-knowledge and reduce anxiety and suffering. Casey’s interests include navigating complicated family and career dynamics, often at critical junctures of adulthood including marriage, parenting, divorce and retirement.

Originally from the United States, Casey has been living in Hong Kong since 2012. Before becoming a therapist, Casey practiced law in New York. As a mother of three, she brings an understanding of the emotional and practical demands of balancing family, career and personal growth.
